Dear Parents/Guardians,
VALE BISHOP PETER INGHAM AND MARTIN GAFFEY
The last month has been an incredibly sad and emotional time for Australia. Events have taken place that have made us question what we value most and if the fabric of our society is firm enough to hold us together.
Knife crime, domestic violence, wars overseas and several recent deaths have made us all think. What if that was my daughter or son or mother or father that was a victim? What can I do to help make our society safer?
These are powerful questions to ponder. But the first thing we can do is to make our part of our society as safe as possible. St John’s is built on being a peaceful place.
Yesterday we farewelled Mr Martin Gaffey who passed away peacefully last week at David Berry Hospital. ‘Gaff’ was a long-term staff member at St John’s who taught 100’s and 100’s of students. I had the pleasure of working with Gaff in Marist Brothers Auburn in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. He was good man with a wicked sense of humour who had a major impact in his time at St John’s.
Today we farewelled Bishop Peter Ingham, Bishop Emeritus of the Wollongong Diocese. Bishop Peter was an outstanding man of God who was our Bishop for 16 years. Many of our staff got to know him closely as we journeyed together to the Holy Land or other places as pilgrims.
Both of these men contributed greatly to education to both education in the Diocese of Wollongong and at St John’s. Both will be sadly missed.
As Catholics we remember and pray for those we have lost and come together as a community at these times. It is times like these that we get stronger in our faith and our views on life and how to live life well.
As all are aware, our school prayer is the Peace Prayer of St Francis.
BISHOP PETER INGHAMPeter William Ingham, the fourth bishop of Wollongong, died peacefully in the late evening of 26 April 2024. He was 83 years of age and almost 60 years a priest. Born in Crows Nest, Sydney, Peter was the only child of George and Marjorie Ingham (nee Hyndes). He was
educated at St Leonard’s Primary School, Naremburn, and St Pius X College, Chatswood, and studied for the priesthood at St Columba’s Seminary, Springwood, and at St Patrick’s
Seminary, Manly. He was ordained by the late Cardinal Sir Norman Gilroy in St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney, in 1964.
Following various parish appointments in the Archdiocese of Sydney, Peter was appointed private secretary to Cardinal James Freeman, and then as the secretary of the Archdiocese of Sydney. He was nominated as a monsignor by Pope John Paul II in 1986, and in July 1993 he was consecrated auxiliary bishop of Sydney. On 25 July 2001, Peter was installed as the fourth bishop of Wollongong, and with his typically selfless dedication, served the diocese for 16 years, retiring in November 2017.
Bishop Peter’s ministry was not confined to the Diocese of Wollongong. He served on several committees of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, and in 2006 was elected president of the Federation of Catholic Bishops Conferences of Oceania. In October 2008, he participated in the 12th Synod of Bishops at the Vatican, and in October the following year was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI a member of the Special Assembly for Africa of the Synod of Bishops. In 2022, Bishop Peter was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia by the late Queen Elizabeth II for “significant service to the Catholic Church in Australia”.
With the mention of the name, Bishop Peter Ingham, words and images immediately spring to mind. Bishop Peter had a prodigious memory for names and faces, and it was a great joy to him to be among people at diocesan or civic gatherings. His warm and welcoming, happy and caring nature were evident in his engagement with each person.
He was compassionate and approachable, faith-filled and prayerful—in essence, a servant leader. His greatest joy was to be a disciple of Jesus and a true shepherd of
God’s people.
In 2016, Bishop Peter was diagnosed with fibrosis of the lungs which restricted his airways and his capacity to exert himself. As his condition deteriorated, he was cared for by a close family friend with the assistance of his doctor and palliative care teams in Sydney. He faced his death with the dignity, graciousness and serenity that had characterised his life—gently surrendering into the arms of our loving God at 83 years of age on 26 April 2024.
Paying tribute to the the impact Bishop Peter had on the Diocese of Wollongong, the current bishop of Wollongong, Bishop Brian Mascord said: “Bishop Peter was a spiritual father of the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands. We offer him a heartfelt ‘well done, good and faithful servant’ (Matthew 25:23), and we take comfort in the sure hope that we now have another advocate in the presence of our Lord praying for the needs and salvation of the people of God in the Diocese of Wollongong.

WELCOME BACK TO TERM 2
A big welcome back to students and parents for a busy and exciting Term 2. I hope everyone is rested from a well deserved break and are ready to enrich themselves with learning.
Now is the perfect time for students to reflect on the way they worked in Term 1, whether it be in the classroom or on the playground. Some questions students could ask themselves or parents/carers could assist students to reflect, include:
- What are three things that really worked well for me?
- What are two things that didn’t work well for me?
- What steps could I take to turn those two things around?
- Who are the people that could help me with this?
- How and when will I know if I am successful?
UPCOMING SCHOOL EVENT: FOUNDATION DAY
Foundation Day is the important celebration of the commemoration of our school and will be held on Friday 24 May 2024 (Week 4, Term 2). Students and Staff will begin the day with mass and then engage in a range of fun activities for the remainder of the day. Food will be available to purchase from a variety of food stalls and we encourage students to bring cash on the day to purchase tickets for food and activities. The day will finish with a Showcase of some of the wonderfully talented St John’s students performing for the community. Here are some details for you to be aware of regarding this day:
- It is a compulsory school day (students who arrive after mass will not be allowed to participate in the activities part of the day)
- Students must arrive at school at regular time and in full winter uniform
- Students can bring a change of clothes for after mass (appropriate, warm clothing)
- Students will be expected to comply with normal school expectations regarding behaviour throughout the day
- Students will NOT be required to bring their devices to school for Foundation Day
- Students can purchase 2x strips of tickets for the food and activities during morning PaLS ($5 per strip, 10 tickets per strip). Opportunity to purchase more tickets will be available throughout the day.

YEAR 11 STUDIES IN CATHOLIC THOUGHT
The Studies in Catholic Thought course begins with an investigation of what it means to be a human being. At first we may think that is quite straightforward - but, deeper reflection leads us to really explore how we are different from all other species. Year 11 SiCT students have explored this question through an investigation of the writings of the ancient Greek philosophers and St Paul. One lesson was a “hands on” activity where students created a clay bust of their favourite Greek philosopher.
Reflection Days are an integral component of the faith and personal development provided for students at St John’s. Later this term Year 9 students will participate in their Reflection Day provided by Karis Ministries. This day will focus on:
- Happiness in life
- Living life to the full
- Who the real me is
BISHOP INGHAM
The Catholic and wider community of the Wollongong Diocese has been saddened by the recent passing of Bishop Peter Ingham. Bishop Peter was the 4th Bishop of the diocese and was an outstanding shepherd to his people. St John’s as a school has many connections with Bishop Peter - from his visits to the school, students who were confirmed by him and a number of staff who were accompanied by Bishop Peter on World Youth Day trips and Holy Land pilgrimages.
STAINED GLASS IN CHAPEL
Recently the windows behind the altar in the Chapel were enhanced with stained glass images of the Holy Family and St John the Evangelist. These windows now provide a faith focus for anyone visiting the Chapel.
FOUNDATION DAY MASS
Foundation Day is being held this year on Friday 24 June. This date follows the feast of Pentecost celebrated by the Church on Sunday 19 June. Pentecost is regarded as the foundation day of Christianity when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles gathered in Jerusalem after the Ascension of Jesus. On Foundation Day the whole school community will gather for Mass to celebrate who we are as a school and to offer thanksgiving to God.
MONTH OF MAY
May is assigned by the Catholic Church as a month of devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary’s life, as recorded in the Gospels, was one of courage, love, loyalty and faithfulness to God. She certainly faced many challenges in her life which she faced with amazing inner strength, fortitude and sacrifice. Mary as a human being, as a mother and as a parent can be an inspirational role model to each one of us.

Illawarra Nursing and Allied Health Day - UOW
The Nursing & Health Careers workshop, held in partnership with the University of Wollongong (UOW) on May 1st, 2024, at the Shoalhaven UOW Campus, was highly successful, with students attentively listening to a key guest speaker about his journey as an Exercise Physiologist and engaging positively in a range of practical activities. The expo area provided students with the chance to interact with health industry professionals, specialising in fields such as Age and Disability care and Occupational Health.
Students walked away inspired and with great insights of the industry’s demands and potential career opportunities.
2024 Illawarra Careers Expo
The 2024 Illawarra Careers Expo is a fantastic link between education and career pathways for students across the region. This year's expo continued its tradition of providing quality school-to-work connections, education insights, and industry expertise. St John students actively engaged with stand holders, demonstrating enthusiasm and curiosity as they explored various career options. They interacted positively with industry professionals, asking questions and receiving firsthand knowledge about potential career paths and the skills necessary for success. By the end of the day, it was evident that Year 10 students emerged from the expo feeling more confident about their upcoming subject selections and post-school options.
Year 12 students also benefited greatly from the expo, receiving support in navigating post-school transitions to tertiary education, apprenticeships, and/or employment. The expo also emphasised the importance of continuous learning and skill development, offering information about vocational training, apprenticeships, university courses, and alternative pathways. As we left the venue, a sense of confidence and positivity was palpable with students engaged in conversations with peers and staff members about the vast opportunities available to them.
Overall, the 2024 Illawarra Careers Expo served as a dynamic platform for empowering St John students to make informed decisions about their futures, fostering connections, providing valuable insights, and instilling confidence as they embark on their journey towards fulfilling and successful careers.

Australian Museum Work Experience Program
Applications Now Open for 2024 Work Experience Program Every day at the Australian Museum is different. Our high school work experience program offers students the chance to explore a variety of careers including science and cultural research, education, public programming, curatorial and exhibition design, marketing, communications and corporate services. All work experience opportunities provide practical learning to consolidate classroom teaching. This will support students' personal development and professional skills as they prepare to enter the workforce and make choices about their careers.
The program is available for students in Years 10–12 and will be offered during Terms 3 and 4, over four possible weeks:

- September 9–13
- October 14–18

YEAR 11 & 12 UPDATES
Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) Undergraduate Applications 2024-25
Students planning on applying to MOST universities in NSW and the ACT can apply through the UAC website
Key information:
- Applications will cost $80 before 30th of September and $215 after this date
- It is recommended that you watch the videos on the link above and read the Steps to Uni for Year 11 and 12 Students UAC Guide (2025 version available soon) before applying
- You will need your Unique Student Identifier, NESA student number and UAC PIN to apply. UAC PINS were emailed to students on your school email address on April 3, 2024. If you did not receive a UAC PIN, call UAC on 1300 275 822 or 9752 0200 from mobiles. SJE does not have access to your UAC PIN.
- Students can select up to 5 courses.
- Put your courses in order of preference i.e. the course you want to do most is your first preference.
- You can also apply direct to some universities - increase your potential offers by selecting different courses for your UAC application and any direct applications universities that you make.
- Once you’ve applied, you can change the order of your preferences - or even the courses you’ve selected as often as you like before the closing dates for each offer round, so don’t panic about your initial selections.
After completing the UAC undergraduate application, you can apply for the Schools Recommendation and/or Education Access Schemes and Equity Scholarships:
Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS) ‘Early Entry’ - one way institutions make early offers of undergraduate admission to Year 12 students. They do this by using criteria other than (or in addition to) the ATAR. UAC applications for most SRS programs are open now and close on 16 September.
Note: Not all universities offer SRS entry. Each institution will have specific SRS criteria details, including any exceptions. If you don’t receive an offer in your preferred course through the SRS scheme, you can apply again for this course in the normal offer rounds once the ATARs are released.
Education Access Scheme (EAS) for students whose education has been negatively affected for a period of at least six months as a result of circumstances beyond their control or choosing during Year 11 and/or Year 12 (or equivalent.
Equity Scholarships are awarded to students from low socio-economic backgrounds
Early Offer Schemes for Year 12 Students
While the ATAR is still the main selection tool used by most universities, there are other ways for you to show that you’re ready to succeed at tertiary study.
Many institutions have one or more early offer schemes for Year 12 students. Through these schemes, the institutions will assess you using criteria other than (or in addition to) your ATAR. Always check the institution websites to make sure the courses you are applying for a covered by the schemes.

NEW! Tertiary Health Study Subsidies
The Tertiary Health Study Subsidy Program will support 12,000 students from 2024. The subsidies incentivise students to enter the NSW Health workforce by reducing financial barriers to study.
The payments can assist students with fees, technology, travel, or other associated personal costs.
What subsidies are available?
NSW Health offers two subsidies:
- $12,000 subsidy paid over three years to students commencing study, and intending to work for NSW Health upon completion.
- $8,000 one-off subsidy paid to students graduating study with employment in NSW Health.
Each subsidy will see 2,000 students awarded annually for the next three years.

Destination Australia Scholarships
Destination Australia Scholarships are funded by the Commonwealth Government, and are designed to attract and support students who choose to live and study in regional communities. Each Scholarship provides $15,000\* per student per year of course enrolment to support costs for living and studying in regional Australia. Scholarships are provided for specific courses and locations only, as shown below, and require full time class attendance for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
ACU Step Up into Teaching Scholarship Program (SUIT)
How this Program Works
This program targets Year 11 students. These students will be required to apply to ACU successful Year 11 applicants will attend ACU campus for one week in the September School holidays to complete one unit and one week in the following January School holidays. Students are required to attend ACU campus for another week to complete the second unit. They must pass each unit to gain credit.
TAFE
Fee free apprenticeships are a great way for students to launch their careers
There’s never been a better time to start an apprenticeship in NSW. The NSW Government is paying the course cost for 100,000 new apprenticeships – meaning apprentices undertaking a government funded apprenticeship no longer face a student fee of up to $2000. Apprenticeships are a great career path-way. They combine on-the-job training with classroom study to give you the skills and experience employers are looking for. Apprenticeships generally take around 3-4 years to complete, and apprentices earn a salary while they learn. There are more than 120 different apprenticeship courses available in NSW, in a range of industries including construction, cooking, aviation and automotive.

First Aid certification: Applicants are required to supply certification of completion of an approved ‘Apply First Aid’ course with at least 12 months currency remaining on certification. Typing certificate. Applicants are required to supply a recognized certificate of typing proficiency equivalent or greater than 25 words per minute at 98 percent accuracy.

Expression of Interest for Electrical Apprenticeships

NOAH JAMIESON - YEAR 8
Noah was successful in being selected in the Wollongong Diocese Boys U15's Touch Football Team.
He attended the NSWCCC Touch Championship Trials on 9/10 April in Tuggerah. Noah trialled well and gained a lot of experience from the trials but unfortunately was not chosen to go to the next level.
Congratulations on representing the Wollongong Diocese.
TORR MORLEY - YEAR 8
Torr was successful in being selected in the Wollongong Diocese Boys U15's Touch Football Team. He attended the NSWCCC Touch Championship Trials on 9/10 April in Tuggerah.
Torr was up against a strong field of players, he did himself proud but unfortunately was not chosen to go to the next level.

Thanks to all year 11 students for the positive start they have had to the term. Many students have been involved in excursions, representative sport and extra curricular involvement. Its great to see many students engaging with their subject teachers in a positive way. A reminder to students to fill out their Passports to log involvement in activities outside the classroom.
YEAR 11 - DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY SHAPE EXHIBITION
YEAR 11 - HOSPITALITY FOOD & BEVERAGE STUDENTS
Tuesday 7th May saw the grand opening of the highly anticipated VET Hospitality Cafe “Peace Lily Cafe”. The cafe is a fantastic opportunity for the Year 11 Hospitality students to not only show off their newly acquired barista skills, but also further develop their customer service and time management skills.
The service was a huge success and we look forward to growing and developing each and every week for the remainder of the year.
Congratulations to Mrs Chittick, Ms Walker and all Year 11 Hospitality students on all of your hard work.

What an amazing start to the term Year 12 have had. They have embraced the challenges they have been faced with and have shown that they are excellent leaders for the whole school community. Recently they received their half yearly reports. Report awards will be coming out in the next fortnight to recognise those students who have achieved exceptional results in their first semester of Year 12.
There are a number of events coming up for Year 12. They will be participating in their last Foundation Day and I know this is an event that they are all preparing and looking forward to. Students also will be participating in the HSC and beyond information evening and I encourage all students to attend this night. We will be publishing key dates coming up for year 12 in the next semester including graduation and formal and I also will ensure these dates are published in the next school newsletter.
Again students have been wearing their uniform with pride and are constantly setting a strong example for the rest of the school community. As a result students can now wear their Year 12 Jersey on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
On Friday last week Year 12 ran a lunchtime BBQ to raise money for their Year 12 present to the school. We will be running more events in the future to help towards the fundraising of this including a BBQ at the rescheduled Athletics carnival. I would like to thank all those students in Year 12 who helped out on the day and Mr Eirth, Mr Elton, Mr Carraro and Mrs Manley who also assisted at the BBQ.
On Wednesday the 8th of May Year 12 were lucky enough to go to the Illawarra Careers Expo in Berkeley. The students had a great day and I know they got some vital information for their futures.

ST JOHN'S ANZAC DAY CEREMONY
Our annual ANZAC Memorial Ceremony and morning tea was held on Thursday, May 2nd. We would like to thank the many special guests who attended this important event, which honours the struggle and sacrifices made by those serving our country, both past and present, providing us with the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
Thank you so much to Captain Gavin Fairs of the Royal Australian Navy for delivering our ANZAC address.
The conduct and respect shown by all students at the ceremony was exemplary. We are blessed to work with such fine young people & confident they will meet the call for continued peace.

2024 STEER SPECTACULAR
South Coast BeefTM (SCB) again conducted the School Steer Spectacular for secondary schools on the 7th to 8th May, 2024 at the Newly refurbished cattle pavilion at Nowra Showgrounds. SCB is a not-for-profit member organisation seeking to advance the skills and knowledge of beef producers in the South Coast region through networking and information sharing to encourage members to manage their herds efficiently, profitably and responsibly.
The School Steer Spectacular aims to provide:
School students in SE NSW with an opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the beef industry through involvement in a commercially realistic project that may ultimately provide them a pathway into a career in agriculture.
Local beef producers with an opportunity to gain valuable feedback on the suitability of their cattle to meet market specifications with a high yield of saleable meat.
The 2024 School Steer Spectacular is in the sixth year of competition with each year getting bigger as more schools and students register to participate. This year we had 21 schools participating which engaged approximately 1250 students in the preparation, feeding, handling, grooming and presentation in the show ring of their steers. The School Steer Spectacular was again held at the Nowra Showgrounds with two days of activities, the first day for skills and knowledge-building and the second day for live competition in the show-ring. The carcass competition will be held on Saturday 11th May with results presented at the Annual dinner 2 weeks following the event. Participating schools prepare steers provided by local beef producers to compete for awards based on the merits of the live steers (on the hoof) and the finished product being the carcasses (on the hook). This is a real-world competition where the judged final product meets Woolworths’ and Coles’ standard of finished product. This year the Spectacular will also include commercial cattle classes. This will enable beef producers to enter their own cattle to assess their herd breeding and management programs. The Spectacular continues to attract significant industry and media attention including TV, radio and, local and state-wide media coverage.
HANNAH PHILLIPS - YEAR 10
Congratulations to Hannah Phillips of Year 10 on her selection in the Coates Talent League Giants Academy U18 Team. This is an outstanding achievement as this is the highest level of competition for AFL U18's.
Hannah has also been selected on performance in the U16 National Team.
NICHOLAS MCGILL - YEAR 11
Congratulations to Nic McGill of Year 11 for his results at the 2024 Australian Junior Championships held in Adelaide during the holidays.
Nic came 2nd in the U17 2000metre Steeplechase with a time of 5.56.41 which was an 8 second PB and 8th in the U17 3000metre with another PB of 8.44.34.
It's so awesome to see the results of Nic's dedication, commitment and hard work.
NATARSHA MANDAVY & JASMINE EDWARDS - YEAR 10
On Wednesday May 1st, Natarsha and Jasmine volunteered their time and umpired the games at the PSSA Netball trials which we were informed assisted the event to run smoothly. They are to be commended on their community involvement and the organiser of the Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) trials wanted to thank the girls for their help.
ISAAC SLEATH - YEAR 12
Congratulations to Isaac Sleath of Year 12 in being named Junior Club Person of the Year for Nowra-Culburra Surf Life Saving Club.
SHOALHAVEN EISTEDDFOD - VOCAL GROUP
On Thursday 9 May St John's Vocal group participated in the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod. The group received highly commended in a close competition with St John's scoring 83/100 which was just 7 marks off the winning score. Our students should be extremely proud of their performance.

WORKING BEE - THURSDAY 23 MAY 2024
There will be jobs for everyone including gardening, painting, supply and preparation of afternoon tea and general school maintenance. Even if you can just spare an hour, it would surely be appreciated. We encourage students to be involved, their support and participation is rewarded in points for their house and recognition towards extracurricular activities. If you're unable to attend and would like to offer your assistance by providing a plate for afternoon tea these would be greatly appreciated and accepted on the day.

Dear Parents / Carers
Below you will find some every day procedures that will be helpful as parents and carers to learn the daily routine of the school. With a student population this year of over 950, you can understand that routine is very important to the smooth running of the school.
The following are a list of procedures, which if followed correctly, will enable us to serve you in a friendly, efficient, professional manner at all times as well as allow students to focus on their learning.
Early Leavers:
If you need to collect your child early from school, please send a note in with them in the morning, which they will bring to the office before school. Students' diary will be stamped with an Early Leavers Pass providing them permission to leave class. They will meet you at the office and there is no waiting for anyone. It is very difficult to get a child out of class on short notice. It is a disruption for the teachers and the rest of the class. If a student is at sport, or doing a practical class then they can be difficult to locate. If you find you need to pick your child up urgently please ring the school before you come in to give us time to locate them.
It would be appreciated if any change to after school travel arrangements to be communicated to your child is received by the office no later than 2.30pm.
School times:
Please ensure your child arrives at school on time. School begins at 8.30am each morning. If they are late they must report to the office to be signed in or they will be marked absent on the roll.
Lost Property:
A real concern is the amount of lost property that comes into the office. There are a number of uniform items each year that end up being sent to St Vincent de Paul as they have no names on them and students do not come to claim them. We cannot return items if they are not clearly labelled. Please put your child's name on all of their uniform items, especially blazers and sports track suits. Hats are another item that often comes to the office with no name. Do not think because they are now in high school they will not lose things!
Illness:
If your child becomes ill during the day you will be phoned to come and collect them. Students who are not well enough to be in class must go home. Please ensure we always have your updated telephone numbers. Students are not to use their mobile phones to ring you if they are sick. Medication (including Paracetamol) will only be administered if supplied to the office with a Medical Consent form.
Afternoon pick up:
If you are picking your child up from school in the afternoon, please do not park in the staff car park at the front of the school. The only exception is if you are collecting a student from the learning support class.
Valuables at school:
Students are encouraged not to bring valuables or money to school. The school is not responsible for loss or theft of valuables whilst students are at school. All students are advised to keep valuables with them at all times, either in their pockets or in a pencil case in the classroom. Due to WHS regulations all bags have to be left outside of classrooms.
Electronic Devices:
Mobile phones, iPods, iPhones, MP3s and other electronic devices are permitted to be used before and after school however they are not to be used during school hours and must be switched off. If a student is found to be using these items they will be confiscated. The first confiscation is classed as their one and only warning, they will have the item returned to them at the end of the day. The second confiscation will result in the phone/electronic device being stored in the school office and the student will be required to attend a playground withdrawal before collecting their device the next day. Third and consequent confiscations will be treated as an act of defiance and dealt with accordingly. Parents are asked not to phone their children on their mobiles or to send them text messages during the day. If you need to get an urgent message to your child please ring the school office and we will relay the message for you.
Excursions/Events:
Payments and consent must be submitted before the due date on Compass or the student may not be permitted to attend the excursion. The office will not accept payments or consent past the due date without prior approval from the Assistant Principal.
If there is any concern over the cost of an excursion or the ability to pay, please contact the Principal’s Secretary via the school office. No child will be excluded from any compulsory excursion due to money constraints, however students or parents must inform their coordinator or appropriate person before the due date.
Family Information:
Please ensure that you advise the office of any change in family circumstances or contact details including email addresses, telephone numbers and residential and postal addresses. This will assist the school with the communication process throughout the year. Important messages are sent out via email so it is essential that the school is informed of current email addresses. Carers of students who travel on school buses are required to update address details online via the Transport NSW website, apps.transport.nsw.
Newsletter:
The school newsletter will be sent via Compass to parents every second Friday and available via the school website.
School Policies:
Please refer to the school website (via the Admin menu) or student diary, for school policies regarding jewellery, shoes, uniform and the consequences involved in non compliance with these policies.
